Straight bevel gears crafted by Feida Machinery factory  are  the simplest form of bevel gears,which are used to transmit power between two shafts that intersect at a 90-degree angle. These gears resemble  spur gears, only conical rather than cylindrical.Therefore,they have distinct advantages as below:

1.Simplicity: Have a straightforward design with teeth cut directly across the gear face, making them relatively simple to manufacture and maintain.

2.Efficiency: Have less sliding action compared to worm gears, resulting in higher efficiency and reduced heat generation.

3.The simplicity of their design often makes them more cost-effective to produce than other gear types.

Standard parameters of these gears include module, addendum cofficient,etc.

The common material used for them is alloy steel such as 40Cr,and 20CrMnTi.Through carburizing and quenching or tempering,their precision grade is up to the ISO/DIN 7-10 level ,which results in smoother transmission.

Straight bevel gears are a good choice when a change in transmission direction is needed under limited space and cost constraints.The typical applications include automotive differentials,machine tools,tractors,power tools,and some light industrial gearboxes.
