Made by Feida Machinery factory, Metal Sprocket Gears are simple mechanical wheels with teeth or small notches, which do not mesh directly with each other,but rotate and engage with the links of a chain or belt to achieve long-distance power transmission.

Common types

By hub shape,they are divided into type A(flat/plate),type B(single hub), and type C(double hub).
By construction, they are divided into solid,spoked/webbed, and split/combination.
By number of rows,they are divided into single-strand and double/multi-strand.

The choice of materials depends on the specific application(e.g., low-speed heavy load,corrosive environment,cost reduction).The common materials are as follows:

45 steel is the most widely used medium carbon steel and offers good overall performance.
Low carbon steel(e.g.,Q235) features lower strength, but it has good toughness.
Low-carbon alloy steel(e.g., 20Cr,20CrMnTi) has high strength and good toughness.After carburizing and quenching,It achieves high surface hardness and wear resistance while maintaining sufficient toughness in the core.
Stainless steel(e.g.,304/316) is ideal for corrosion environments.
