Common Materials

Nylon (PA): The most widely used, e.g., PA66, known for self-lubrication, wear resistance, and good mechanical properties. High-performance grades like PA9T offer better heat resistance, low moisture absorption, and chemical resistance.

Polyoxymethylene (POM): High strength and stiffness, excellent wear and fatigue resistance, and good dimensional stability.

Polyether ether ketone (PEEK): A high-performance specialty plastic with exceptional strength and heat resistance, used in demanding environments.

The production process

Our main process is injection molding, where molten plastic is injected into a mold and cooled. High precision is required, and designers must account for the plastic's shrinkage. For high-strength gears, metal insert injection molding (plastic overmolded on a metal core) is often used to enhance structural integrity.
